Besides photography, pigeons were also used to carry secret messages in the event of spotty radio communications. Microdot Camera In the sixties, the secret agents of East Germany used this tiny camera to photograph important documents of the enemy nations. The most unique feature of this Microdot camera was that after taking the pictures, it undergoes a chemical process which makes the text shrink into a very small block of text to prevent any suspicion. Moreover, because of its small size and unique way of processing information, it came in very handy for the secret agents for giving and receiving confidential information within the enemy territories. Coat camera This little coat camera of Model F-21 was used by the KGB in the seventies. Lipstick pistol The 4.5mm single-shot pistol installed in a lipstick was found in the possession of a KGB agent during the cold war.
